Occident Bridge’s Terms of Service

Welcome to Occident Bridge, a professional service supporting researchers, students, and professionals with editing, academic advising, job preparation, and document preparation. By using our website and services, you agree to the terms outlined below. Please read them carefully.

Occident Bridge provides various services, including professional editing, academic advising, and application coaching to scholars, students, and professionals. Please view our Services page for a full list of services we offer.

We do not provide ghostwriting, data analysis, plagiarism, or content creation on behalf of clients. All services are advisory and editorial in nature, and clients are solely responsible for the original content and the final use of all materials.

By engaging our services, clients confirm that all submitted work is their own and that they are not seeking services in violation of academic integrity policies. Clients agree not to request ghostwriting, fabrication, or any form of unethical authorship substitution. Occident Bridge reserves the right to decline projects that fall outside the scope of ethical academic and professional support. Occident Bridge also reserves the right to suddenly end any projects that violate academic integrity policies and norms without refund.

Occident Bridge treats all materials, correspondence, and client information as strictly confidential. Documents are not shared outside the Occident Bridge team and will not be disclosed to third parties. Non-disclosure agreements (NDAs) may be signed upon request, and we do not collect or retain personal data not essential to service delivery.

All payments must be made in advance unless otherwise agreed upon in writing. Our pricing is transparent and communicated before services begin. Because our services are time-based and customized, we do not offer refunds for completed work. Refunds for services not yet rendered may be issued at our discretion, depending on the circumstances. Clients are encouraged to communicate any concerns within five business days of receiving deliverables so that we may address them appropriately.

Turnaround times are provided as good-faith estimates. Occident Bridge strives to meet all deadlines but cannot be held liable for delays caused by unforeseen circumstances. In the event of a delay, we will contact the client as soon as possible to discuss revised timelines. Expedited (rush) services may be available upon request for an additional fee. Minor revisions are accommodated when requested in a timely manner.

All intellectual property submitted by clients remains their own. Occident Bridge does not claim ownership over client materials and does not use client content for any purpose beyond the scope of the service. Any templates, suggestions, or resources provided by Occident Bridge may not be copied, redistributed, or resold for commercial purposes without explicit written permission.

All content on the Occident Bridge website, including text, branding, design elements, and other materials, is the property of Occident Bridge and may not be reproduced without permission. While our website may link to third-party sites, Occident Bridge does not endorse or guarantee the accuracy of any external content.

Occident Bridge provides services in an advisory and editorial capacity. We do not guarantee publication, acceptance to academic programs, funding success, or employment outcomes. We are not responsible for institutional disciplinary actions resulting from misuse of our services. Furthermore, we are not liable for technical interruptions, data loss, or any consequential damages arising from use of the site or services.

Occident Bridge reserves the right to amend these Terms of Service at any time without prior notice. Updated terms will be posted on our website. Continued use of our services after changes have been made constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
